Usage Contract Terms

• Publication of this web page on Inforoute's public web server, constitute a legal and binding usage contract for any users subscribing to Inforoute's services.
• Accounts are measured and billed on a monthly basis and are due and payable in advance on the anniversary date of the account. Charges for excess hours are calculated and collected on the first of the next month. Billed accounts are billed three months at a time. Payment by post-dated cheque is appreciated.
• Accounts must be used legally at all times and in accordance with all applicable Internet Acceptable Use Policies.
• The account holder must be at least 18 years old. Access to the account by anyone under 18 must be under direct supervision of the account holder, who is responsible for all Internet access using the account.
• All access must be interactive and 'attended'. Operating the account as a server, running 'bots' via the account, and leaving the connection active with no person at the keyboard are not permitted.
• Maximum idle session time is 10 minutes, after which time, the account will be immediately disconnected.
• Sessions length is a maximum length of 4 consecutive hours. You are welcome to re-establish the connection after a minute in accordance with the above rules
• The WWW home page and disk storage provided with the account are intended for personal non-business pages only. Please ask us for information on our low cost commercial web space.
• Multiple simultaneous logins using the same account are strictly forbidden. (This service is available at an extra cost)
• Resale of access is not allowed without our explicit permission.
• Account cancellations, upgrades, and downgrades will be effective the anniversary date of the month following the requested change.
• Unused time cannot be banked or carried over to subsequent months.
• Monthly payments by cheque must be received by the anniversary date of the renewal month. If the check is not received by that date access to the account will be automatically suspended.
• Access to an account will be suspended when a cheque is returned NSF or unpaid or a credit card charge is declined. The account will remain suspended until the outstanding amount plus any fees owed are paid.
• Cancellation of an account does not release the account holder from responsibility for paying past due charges and fees.
• A Finance charge of 24% per annum (2% per month) will be applied monthly on all outstanding invoices.
• Use of the account indicates acceptance of these terms.
• LINQ Communications retains the right to cancel or suspend any account at any time at our sole discretion.
